The role of Strength & Balance Programme Coordinator provides a unique opportunity to deliver a commissioned strength and balance service across Epping Forest and Harlow.
We are looking for a dynamic, organised and self-motivated individual to work across the two geographic areas to support people to improve their physical health in order to stay mobile, fit and well, and able to live active, fulfilled lives.
You will be responsible for the planning, delivery and monitoring of all aspects of the service. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering physical activity sessions, predominantly aimed at older people of mixed abilities, and of working in partnership with a range of professionals and wider agencies.
You will have excellent inter-personal, communication and motivational skills and be able to work autonomously and flexibly. Experience of monitoring and evaluating the success of projects, and an existing strength and balance qualification, is desirable.
The successful candidate will be able to develop and sustain effective relationships with clients, their carers and families, volunteers and wider stakeholders and proactively promote the wider services offered by both Epping Forest District Council, Harlow Council and wider providers.
